What's Happening

Weekly Zooms

Zoom Meetups will continue to take place each Wednesday at 10am until the end of Term 2, for enrolled students who are not currently attending preschool.

Please check your email for Zoom link and ID/password.

New Entry Process

All children will be met at the front door by a Preschool staffmember each morning, and will wash their hands upon arrival.

All parents and carers are asked to make use of hand sanitiser before entering Preschool.

Staying Safe

Please discuss with your child good hygiene practices, including washing hands regularly and coughing into their elbow. This will reinforce the lessons we are delivering here at Preschool.

Dhurga Language and Culture

Braidwood Preschool students have ongoing visits from Uncle Noel and Aunty Trish of Nura Gunyu which provide an opportunity to learn some Dhurga words and Yuin culture.

In 2020, these lessons have been reduced, due to bushfire impacts.

Fire Safety

We always appreciate our visits from Braidwood Fire and Rescue Firefighters.
They help our children to learn about safe and unsafe fires, what to do if there is a fire at their house, and how to get help.

Munch and Move 10 year celebration

Braidwood Preschool was delighted to host an afternoon tea, to celebrate 10 years of involvement with the Munch and Move Program, from NSW Health. All educators at Preschool have participated in the training for this program. The educators implement experiences from the program, which encourage healthy eating, drinking water and movement skills.

The afternoon celebration involved the children making fruit kebabs and eating veggie strips, balloons and frisbees.
