Offical Balcony Opening

This morning we were delighted to host representatives from Community Bank Braidwood and Bungendore, Veolia Mulwaree Trust and our Preschool Parent Committee for a special morning tea to celebrate the official opening of our Goombawa Balcony!

Community Bank Braidwood and Veolia Mulwaree Trust generously provided funding for essential sewer works; a key step toward obtaining our final occupation certificate and securing access to the balcony. While these works are no longer required, we remain deeply appreciative of their support and commitment to our preschool community.

We would also like to extend heartfelt thanks to past and present committee members; particularly Rebecca Brydon, Angela Backhouse, and former Director, Fiona Noye for the significant time and dedication they invested in this project over the years.

Finally, a big congratulations to our passionate team of early childhood professionals, whose creativity and innovation ensured children’s comfort and safety throughout the process. We’re thrilled to now enjoy clear and easy access between our indoor and outdoor environments - a testament to their collaboration, perseverance, and community spirit!
